What is a Team?
A team is a group of at least 10 individuals committed to having FUN and raising funds for My Sister’s House. A team can be comprised of individuals representing a company, school, family, or any other group.

To Find an Existing Team
- Visit the event page on Race Roster
To Form a Team
- Create an account on Race Roster.
- Register yourself as a participant.
- On the registration form, there will be an option to create a team. You may also email us at runforasafehaven@my-sisters-house.org and let us know you would like to create a team. Include your name and the name of your team.
NOTE: The person creating the team will automatically be Team Captain. If you would like to switch this to a different team member, please send us an email. - When your team is created, a fundraising page will also be created. This is a way for Race Roster to communicate directly with Team Captains and members to fundraise on your team’s behalf.
- Others can now join your existing team. Spread the word to friends and family!
To Join an Existing Team:
- Create an account on Race Roster.
- Register yourself as a participant.
- During the registration process, click “Join a Team.”
- Select “Team Name” from the dropdown menu.
- Complete registration process!
How do I Join a Team if I’m Already Registered?
- Sign in to your Race Roster Participant Dashboard.
- If you have multiple registrations associated with your account, scroll down to find the registration you want to update.
- Click the “Add Team” button under the Team section.
- Select a team from the dropdown menu.
- Click “Next Step” to complete!
Team Payment Options
If your group is interested in paying for the total team registration fee or a portion of each team member’s registration fee, please contact runforasafehaven@my-sisters-house.org.
